For many years, Mason Players has organized its season around the calendar year. That is not typical for the theatre groups in the Greater Cincinnati Area, especially for those groups who are members of ACT - the Association of Community Theatre of Greater Cincinnati. MCP is a member of ACT. At the direction of the MCP Board, it is adjusting its season to be organized from June 1st of one year through May 31st of the next year. To that end, MCP's 2019 Season is being extended into 2020.

So we invite you to ...

... Continue the ride and journey on the Mystery Tour.

Two shows will comprise the extended season - The Importance of Being Earnest and You Have the Right to Remain Dead.

Earnest will open on February 14, 2020. That is a very significant date; not just because it is Valentine's Day and this is a mystery about whether love can find a way. It is also 125 years to the day when this classic Oscar Wilde play was presented on stage for the very first time. Considered Wilde's most popular work, this show has stood the test of time. Love is still Wilde! Earnest will be directed by Mary Beringer. Auditions are forthcoming. Click here for more details, if you are interested in being a part of the cast!

You Have the Right to Remain Dead will be directed by Tess Catlin. Slated to open on May 8, 2020. This fun murder-mystery involves the audience. Not only do audience members participate in finding the murderer, they are suspects themselves. Are you sure that YOU are not the perpetrator?

Following these two shows, MCP will roll out its 2020-2021 Season. More details about the shows that will comprise that Season will be published soon.

Please keep supporting MCP by attending as many shows as possible. As we journey into 2020, come discover the answers to those burning, time-honored questions ... Will love prevail? and Who done it?
