Miss Prism - Melissia Gary

Stephen Catlin is a lifelong member of MCP, and a veteran of numerous shows both on stage and off. Also a claimant to many years of service as a performer, technician and administrator is the multi-talented Melissia Gary. We are grateful to those returning to our stage from past performances ... Amy Sullivan, an accomplished veteran of area community theatre, Abby Farmer, also an accomplished musician, choreographer and dancer, and the man of many voices and many theatrical skills, John David Hamilton. And MCP is extremely thrilled to welcome to our stage for the first time, Christopher Ball, Katherine WhiteCharlie Rader, and Brandon Blair. Brandon is no stranger to MCP having been invaluable as a tech over the last year. And he will have double duty as the show's Technical Director in addition to his role. Christopher Ball is also a veteran of area community theatre with credits at four area groups. He most recently appeared as Sky in Footlighters, Inc. Mamma Mia! Katherine White is a relative newcomer to the area, but not to acting. She has experience on stage, on film, and online and seems to be a woman of many voices to rival our own John David. And Charlie Rader comes to us with many years of experience throughout area stages, but many MCPers will recognize him from his skilled work with Loveland Stage Company.

The show will open 125 years to the day when The Importance of Being Earnest first opened. It's true ... MCP's production will open on February 14, 2020 and the premiere of this classic work by Oscar Wilde occurred February 14, 1895.

It's a valentine for the ages. We are going to invite folks to bring a sweetheart to see this "trivial comedy for serious people." Its high farce and witty dialogue have helped make this Wilde's most endearingly popular play.
