Facilities Committee:
When MCP has a permanent site for its shows, this committee is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of that venue. During the time in which MCP rented Theatre 42, this group ensured that there was sufficient fuel for the heating/cooling system, maintained the landscaping, mowed the grass, coordinated improvements to the building, and made or hired professionals to maintain equipment.
Among the improvements these members oversaw were the construction of a second level to store properties, the creation of a conference room, the building of units to store lumber and set pieces, the building of wardrobes for costumes, the creation of a make-up area complete with mirrors and proper lighting, and improvements to the lighting and sound systems and the light/sound booth. They were also responsible for the painting of various areas in the theatre.
