Three Individuals Nominated to Board
There are five two-year positions open on the Mason Community
Players' Board of Directors.
Laureen Catlin, Tess Catlin, Larry Fritz, Missy Gary, Jason Gonzalez and Lara Gonzalez will be seated on the 2026 Board in the
second year of their two-year terms.
Three members highlighted below have been nominated to date. According to MCP's Code of Regulations, there can be as few as 5 members on the Board and no more than 11. Seeking to be elected to the Board at the January 3, 2026 meeting are:
Eva Bower
Nominated by Tess Catlin
Eva brings energy, kindness and a sense of community to MCP ... backstage, on stage and to many fundraisers and social events. Currently she is serving on the Communication and Membership Committees, where she lends her time and talents. She is looking to expand her involvement in MCP and, if elected, will put her heart into every decision she makes while on the Board of Directors in 2026-27.

Onstage he is a thrill!

He does so much more
With never a grouch or a bill.
Eric Grimm
Nominated by Mary Stan Fizer
Eric Grimm is a Mason native and long-time MCP member. He has been involved in multiple productions both on stage and behind the scenes. Most recently, he served as producer for this year's BlitheSpirit. Eric has served on the board for many years previously and held both Treasurer and Vice President positions. He has also served on several committees and participates in many MCP fundraisers. For the past two years, Eric has been a help with set décor and used his creativity with other small projects when time permitted while he worked on his Master's Degree in Nursing.
As a board member, Eric would strive to bring people together in a welcoming, collaborative environment while fostering creativity, inclusion, and connection. Eric also advocates for the membership at-large to ensure strong leadership, ethical practices, and financial responsibility of the board. A person who asks direct questions and appreciates straight answers, Eric Grimm would be an excellent asset to the MCP Board for 2026-27.
