Volunteers Needed for
MCP Fundraiser at
Cincinnati Open
Since 2004, Mason Players has partnered with the tennis tournament to raise funds. Our responsibilities consist of directing cars to parking spaces in the North Lot, possibly the most complicated area for parking at the venue.
For many years, MCP was there for one week. Now, the troupe is scheduled for two weeks. The funds raised are significant. The number of volunteers needed is also significant.
Saturday, August 8th, MCP is scheduled for one shift from 4pm to 10pm with 30 slots to
fill. That is the same for Tuesday and Wednesday, August 11th
and 12th.
Then each day from Thursday, August 13th
through Sunday, August 23rd, the troupe needs to fill 30 slots for first
shift (4-8pm) and 33 slots on second shift (8pm-12:30am). Not every
second shift ends as late as 12:30am, and sometimes, volunteers can
leave earlier than that. Also, the second shift on the 23rd is scheduled
to end at 10pm.
Finally, help is needed for clean-up on Monday,
August 24th, from 4-8pm.
You do not need to be a dues paying member to participcate in this fundraiser and help support MCP. The troupe is grateful for the help of anyone who has an interest.
