Proof

Proof by David Auburn was one of the most acclaimed plays of the 1999-2000 theatre season, winning the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. It is a passionate, intelligent story of fathers and daughters, the nature of genius, and the complexities of love. The story focuses on Catherine, who cared for her ailing father, a mathematical genius, until his passing. Now she is not only confronted by his loss, but the interference of her sister and a young man combing her father's notes in search of a key to the essence of mathematics. Will Catherine find herself and find love when she may have inherited more than her brilliant mind from her father?

This unique revue will showcase experienced talent. The songs will be presented by vocalists who have gained years of experience bringing a new perspective to lyrics traditionally sung by someone younger.
